Throughout his career, Robert held a number of leadership positions with Eli Lilly and Company, a global pharmaceutical company with products sold in over 100 countries. In theses roles, Robert led and managed important functions such as IT, Six Sigma improvements, and manufacturing.
During his tenure, Robert successfully led IT process improvements and collaborated extensively across divisions at all stages of research, product and clinical development, manufacturing, quality, and marketing. Robert held positions as Vice President and divisional Chief Information Officer for the Lilly Diabetes Business, the Elanco Animal Health Business, as well as the Manufacturing and Quality functions, managing all global applications and IT systems across 25 global manufacturing sites. In his final role with Lilly, Robert served as VP and divisional CIO for Medicines Development and Connected Care IT, shaping and executing effective human resources strategy for IT, including workforce planning, succession planning, and people development in order to further create the foundations for a strong, growing organization.
Post Eli Lilly, Robert has served as VP of Business Technology for Rockwell Automation, and as a consultant to the IU School of Medicine, functioned as the interim CIO for the Regenstreif Institute.
